Cuz came down for an interview and we met up over dinner at InItaly. Tucked along the roads of Craig Road, one wont be able to miss the huge ass sign outside the restaurant.
Italian restaurants are the best for famished individuals as they always serve complimentary bread! I wasn't hungry at all and decided to skip it. Noentheless, I pinched a scoop of pesto and it tasted pretty darn good.

We ordered the Burrata to share and it was decent. I would have loved more cheese and less parma ham. I do like the combination of their capsicum chutney and cheese albeit I preferred Ochre's cheese texture as it was chewier and creamier.

I had the squid ink pasta with lobsters aka Squid Ink Tonnarelli. Tonnarelli is almost similar to Spaghetti, only difference is its cross section; the former has a squarish cross section. In any case, circular or squarish, the pasta was really awesome. I love the texture! I guess its due to the fact that its freshly made and not like those dried-stored-bought ones. Its chewy and was nicely coated with the light tomato sauce accompanying it. I didn't quite care for the lobster though. I guess freshly made pasta is pretty basic and so I sorta expected more for that $38. Flavour wise, it wasn't mind blowing.

My Cuz ordered the Saltimbocca di Pollo, which essentially is Chicken wrapped with Parma Ham and accompanied with a scoop of Polenta. If you havent tasted Polenta, it pretty much taste like the love child of potato and rice in a kueh form. My cuz loved the dish really much. I, on the other hand, think that the ham wrapped chicken its really easier replicable at home. I might be wrong though.

Saltimbocca di Pollo @ $30 |
Verdict:
Food: Decent food but not justifiable for the price
Service: Great, warm and friendly
Ambience: Warm and cosy; might be due to the fact that the tables are really really big causing a huge gap between diners. I was literally shouting at my cuz.
