Day 2 in Hong Kong involved a trip up to Macau but we had breakfast before that in some random Cha Chan Teng and it was a really terrible. Everything from the noodles to the tea to the ambience was bad. Moving on...
Met up with my cousin and he brought us around. There's basically only 2 things to do in Macau- visit casinos and eat EAT eat! my bad, that's like 4 things.

I wanted the pork chop Po Lo Bun but CL ordered wrongly :( so we ended up with 3 normal pork chop buns.
CL went mad and ordered the pork chop rice too. Yes, when it comes to food, his THAT crazy.
Nonetheless, his crazy good. He felt bad and ordered another Bo Lo Pork Bun for us to share. I thought the pork chop bun was really just OK. The pork chop tasted really ordinary and the bun was really ordinary too so the pork chop bun ended up tasting really.... ordinary. The Bo Lo Bun, on the other hand, was crispy and fragrant and really delectable.
After 4 buns and a plate of rice, you would have thought we would stop but nope! we had some Lord Stow Egg Tarts too.
We felt cheated as the tarts weren't picked fresh from the counter. We were given a box of 6 tarts, already packed in the box. Hence, the tarts weren't hot and crispy. That might have resulted in a less flaky experience. Nonetheless I liked it.
The next hotel visited was the Hotel Grand Lisboa which is one of the oldest hotel in Macau; so much so they preserved the old one and built a new one.

Camwhoring is what we do best.. see us? |
Popped by hotel Wynn, which had a wonderful water show outside their hotel. Do check out their in house "Tree of Prosperity" show which is da bomb! A little too slow for my liking but very very majestic.
Check out that lovely rainbow |
I was DELIGHTED to see Yee Shun Milk Company at Macau! Read about it, saw it back at HK but have yet to pop by. So persistent me dragged all of them in for some high tea/ dessert.
Cuzzie had read bean with double skin steam milk. The steam milk was uber smooth and milky and not gonna say much about the red beans as it pretty much complements anything anyways.
Jun jun had papaya milk sago which was awesome! Its not too sweet and was really refreshing! So wanted to kope hers. Chee Leng's Chocolate Milk was so so only.

I had the Ginger Steam Milk which was FANTASTIC. It was smooth and spicy, a little too sweet for my liking but with that level of milkiness and awesome texture, I can live with diabetes :)
We ordered the artery clogging french toast which was sinful but awe-so delicious! Its crispy on the outside yet fluffy and soft inside. Really greasy, really sweet but really good!
Cuzzie wanted to show me this local dessert join which is famous for their saw dust cake.

We had the signature Sawdust Cake (Serradura Cake) which tasted alot like ice box cake covered with finely crushed digestive biscuits. Its essentially frozen cream and biscuit combined; didn't quite enjoy it as its neither ice cream cake nor cake; tasted really icy and unsatisfying.
TX ordered the latte which was ok, nothing wow.
I had the Macau Cappuccino which was also very ordinary.

Check out my milk moustache |
We were at their Nathan Road joint which is a 20-30 minutes walk to our hotel. This time I ordered their chilled steamed egg, coffee steamed milk and ginger steamed milk. Out of all, the ginger rocked once again. I thought the coffee was just too rich for my liking... The steam egg was good but kinda eggy; I know that's a very duh~ comment but what I meant was its perhaps kinda too eggy?
CL shared a pork chop Bun with TX. They commented that it was kinda dry and bland.

Jun Jun had the Macaroni which was really satisfying. The broth was amazingly flavourful; macaroni was cooked to Al Dente. Anybody noticed that the macaroni at HK is more starchy?
