Hans never fails to remember my birthday, which makes me feel really bad as I kinda forgot his this year =X But fret not, next year will I wont miss out, pinky promise.
Anyways he claim Bonta serves one of the best Italian food in Singapore and brought me there for a birthday treat. We were one of the only 2 couples to be seated and that didn't quite scream "Best Italian food in singapore"... I thought the ambience was kinda intimidating as well as it was kinda too quiet and dim and too fine dining-ish. But my impression changed as soon as they served the complimentary bread.
It was this cute muffin looking bread, which I thought of giving a miss but not until Han's tore it apart. The bread was stuffed with what tasted like feta cheese and was laden with tons of walnuts #bestbreadever #nokidding #realstory

I ordered the Canneloni with spinach and ricotta and I loved it really much. The Canneloni was really smooth and had a nice bite to it. I thought the tomato, cream, spinach and cheese all blended perfectly well. I wished I had more on that plate.

Han's had the goose liver with Tagliatelle which he thought was good. I hate goose liver thus imma not gonna comment.

We ended our meal with the Tiramisu which didn't quite shine through like their mains. I thought the Tiramisu was decent but did not hit the oomph factor.
