He says no and gives you something better
He says wait and gives you the best.
I thought those verses were pretty apt, especially for this particular post. Finally, one thing good about back log blog posting: you get to blog about your true opinions, on the hind sight. :)
Moving on.. My colleagues organized a birthday get together for me at Shik Gaek Korean Family Restaurant in JB. I thought the food was awesome! The BBQ was to die for man; every slice of meat was marinated spectacularly and was BBQ to perfection. I'm not really a meat lover but I think I can differentiate a good one from something subpar. M
My colleagues ordered a set for 4-6 ppl which cost 200RM. It came with 2 types of meat, seafood pan cake, fried dumplings, kim chi soup and bibimbap. The Kim chi soup is da bomb! It wasnt too sour yet had that oomph. I dont really like kim chi but this soup is reeeaaalllyyy good. Bibimbap is pretty good too but not as good as the pancake. I must be either really hungry or Shik Gaek is just fantastic; I think the pancake is awesome! Crispy on the outside and soft and chewy in the inside. My only complaint would be the fact that its a tad oily.
There were a total of 10 banchan and could be refilled. However, I prefer Nam Moon's Banchan, love love love their egg plant banchan!
We were so very very stuffed. I can't even describe how stuffed I was but eating the cake was a must.
and after dinner... I was floured. Yeah flour can be used as a verb too.
FLOURED! |

Looking back, so many things have changed these 3 months. Every thing happens for a reason, aye aye to that!
