Toby's Estate

I admit... I'm lazy. I so sorry for MIA-ing for sooo darn long.

Anyways.. I'm back! :) so prepare to feast on my accumulated backlog!

Was at Toby's Estate for brunch (months back) and both Ed and I enjoyed every bit of Toby's. I had their Moroccan Baked Eggs and boy were they good! The corn beef and in tomato stew was delish! A little spicy but really really tasty. My eggs were slightly too cook for my liking but I guess the rest of the dish made up for that small bummer. From what I can vaguely remember, I think Toby's moroccan eggs could actually challenge Wild Honey's Tunisian, for real!

Ed had Toby's Breakfast and I thought it looked really inferior beside mine. Toby's breakfast was like any other big breakfast: Bacons, mushrooms, poached eggs, tomatos and bread. Ed said he enjoyed his very much.

I had their Piccolo Latte which was really small.. (pardon me, I didn't exactly know what Piccolo meant, until the cup came and I googled). The coffee was intense, aromatic and really really strong, in a good way.

Toby's Estate does not charge for their service despite their extremely warm service; or rather it was just that one tall lanky gal. I thought the atmosphere was pretty communal and would have liked it a little less share-y carey. For those who like their own space, make sure you are game for outdoor seating. Ed and I sat on those bar top like seats which was kinda weird as we were seated side by side. Nonetheless, seating aside, I would definitely return to Toby's Estate one of these days.
