I Scream for Ice Cream =D

I think even my most distant friends would know I love Ice Cream; now seriously who doesn't? I kind broke the tradition by not having a Swensen Earthquake last Bangkok trip :( nonetheless  made it up with some Singaporean Swensen Earthquake with durian flavours and halal Yummy Raisin..

Talking aout Ice Cream, Haagen Dazs has their very own misty combination called Mystique. It's basically a combination of Dark Chocolate Orange I/C, Belgian Chocolate I/C and Raspberry Sorbet, plus seasonal fruit and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Apparently it's really good and J has it all the time.

I had the Royal Monte Carlo that night. Nothing beats Coffee and Cappuccino Truffle Ice Cream with crispy waffle pieces, nuts and chocolate sauce, albeit it's kinda sweet.

Also on the Ice Cream list of fun, I had Banoffee in a Tumbler and the Oriole Knickerbocker Glory at Oriole Cafe and Bar. The Banoffee was amazing! Vanilla Ice cream on top of peanut biscuit, butter crumbs, bananas and salted toffee... yums!Only gripe is.. it's kinda small for $12.50 >_<

The Oriole Knickerbocker Glory consisted of Triple chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream, Brandied Cherries, Almond Cat's Tongue (basically almond snap like cookies) and Double Chocolate Cookies. Everything stated above was in the Knickerbocker Glory but I kinda wanted more; I guess Triple Chocolate got me thinking of 3 scoops of White, Milk and Dark Chocolate which raised my expectations.

Left Clockwise: Banoffee in a Tumbler and Oriole Knickerbocker Glory,  Cafe Mocha

Oriole's desserts were decent but their coffee was the star of the night. Their Mocha was DA BOMB! Aromatic, creamy and intense all in one, will definitely be back for more caffeine love :)
