Arbite: Schmack Schmackhaft

Nothing irks me more than the misrepresentation of "All Day Breakfast". Why call it "All Day Breakfast" when you only serve breakie till 11am or 1pm? 

Nope, I'm not talking about Arbite; not directly though. Arbite is one of the few places which serves true blue all day breakfast!! What can be more satisfying than having breakfast for dinner :)

I was famished and so I ordered the Big Breakfast and boy was I please to find a huge platter of breakfasty treats! I like how Arbite is flexible and allows customers to switch up different components, of the same cost. i.e. I got to switch bacon for another sausage as they were of the same price. I enjoyed almost everything, especially the pomme noisettes, which are kinda like mini hashbrown balls.They were super crispy on the outside and soft inside; best part is they were a single bit oily =D I thought the sausages were ok and could do with longer grill time. I must say eveyrthing seemed decent except the brioche which tasted kinda stale; it sorta had some kind of planta (magarine) taste to it.

L ordered the Smoked Salmon Smorgasbord @ $13.90 which was kinda puny for $13.90. I could see the disappointment in his face as he compared his dish to mine. Being a kinda hear-ted friend I offered him some of the big breakfast components, ain't I nice =D

I've heard quite alot about their "My wife'es chocolate cake" and decided to give it a go. Unfortunately, the best part of the cake would have to be the Movenpick Ice cream, either that or the thick rich ganache topping. I found the chocolate cake to be too dry; the ganache did help a little but I could do without the throat rubbing coarse cake crumbs.

JUpdate: I had this about 2 months back and I think they have recently increased their price. They have also stopped serving all day breakfast and only serves breakfast until 2.30pm (or wholeday on Sunday). Arbite, why did you go to the dark side?!! So much for those songs and praise...
