A Trip down Everton

Honestly, if it wasn't for my colleague, I would never have discovered these hidden gems. Located at 4 Everton Park, Nylon Coffee is a cosy indie cafe which offers two types of coffee: Black or White. As simple as it sounds, the coffee those folks whip up bangs a punch. I'm no coffee connoisseur but I can definitely differentiate a good coffee from a bad one.

I had the White 7 oz which cost $4. Not only do they have awesome coffee, their pricing is pretty reasonable as well! *grins*

Simplistic Menu
According to my friends, the owners of Nylon were co founders of Papa Palheta, now that explains alot eh... Great Coffee, cool looking cup, now the only thing lacking is a place to rest my lazy ass.

Oppsie, I side-tracked. The initial plan was to head to my colleague's friend's bakery, Batterworks, for some dessert. Batterworks is a small dessert shop which offers a variety of desserts such as Apple Crumble to Char Siew Pastry. I was in the mood for something cheesy and so I bought their Austrian Apple Cheese Torte. I'm not sure whether about the Austrian Apples but the combination of both cheese and apple was delightful. The torte wasn't too sweet and I liked how it had this mixture of both a dense, cakey bottom and a creamy, chessy top. They were serving free ice cream that day, oh lucky me! :)
