First time ever, we finished class at 3pm! Chef Lim refused to let us off early but we managed to negotiate and gotten ourselves a fair deal. Hence Malcolm, Khim and Ash headed to Vivocity for some bonding session. I believe I'm pretty lucky to have gotten these bunch of jokers as classmates; baking class just won't be the same without them.
We settled for Honeymoon Dessert as that's the only place I knew that served dessert (besides Kopitiam). I ordered a Tang Yuan in Sesame Paste and shared a Baked Mashed Taro Sago Pudding with Khim. Filled with artificially coloured peanut fillings the Tang Yuans were pretty average; nothing different from those packeted ones. Frankly I was elated to find Tang Yuan in Sesame Paste as I get to have the best of both worlds! However, the sesame paste did not quite meet the mark as it wasn't creamy nor smooth instead it had this really lumpy gooey texture, almost like a lor mee gravy.
