Fruit Compote

Compote which means "mixture" in French, is a dessert made of cooked fruits in sugar syrup. Honestly, I would rather eat my fruits on its own but I guess the French had more time and decided to soak their fruits...

Pear Compote

As BITC is Halal, we couldn't use red wine and thus simmered our pear in Ribena. The pear was alittle softer than usual but still had some sort of crunch as we didn't soak ours for long.
