Usually served during buffet, bread and butter pudding has never been my favorite dessert, not until recently that is; clearly there's a reason why I'm growing fatter. Anyways, had I known bread and butter pudding was that easy to make, I would have made it long ago!

Cinnamon Bread and Butter Pudding |
We made our bread and butter pudding the tedious way by toasting the bread and soaking it into cooked custard before baking. Alternatively, you can dump the un toasted bread into the custard and cook till the custard thickens slightly before tossing it into the oven. If you're lazy or need a BBP fix immediately, you could buy instant custard powder and whip up a BBP in less than 20 mins.

I was glad my partner loved cinnamon as the touch of cinnamon really help bring the entire BBP to a whole new level of awesomeness. The BBP we made was soft yet had a teeny weeny sponge effect from the enriched white bread. I think the cinnamon really help bring our attention away from the egginess of the dish and made it a whole lot easier to devour at a go.

YUMS YUMS in my TUMS
I was so inspired by the BPP, I decided to make Nutella BPP at home and I tasted pretty good albeit it could have been better. BPP never looked pretty but hey this tasted divine right out of the oven :P I kinda liked it as the bread was alittle drier (though that shouldn't have been the case when it comes to an ideal BBP) I healthified it and excluded cream and butter; I would defintely make this again but with chocolate milk this time round.

L came over to try and I think he had a hard time swallowing it. Note to myself, either serve it warm or drench it in chocolate sauce like how club street social does it- everything taste good when you have chocolate sauce!
