After 2 weeks of ding dong-ing, we finally went Fabulous Baker Boy!! Located just opposite Liang Court at Foothills, FBB is the place to go for awesome cakes and chillax-y ambience. My only wish: more indoor seatings pleaseeee....
I had the carrot cake for dinner; yes cakes for dinner ftw! My carrot cake was extremely moist and fluffy. FBB's rendition of this classic cake had shredded coconut on it and it made it a whole lot more fragrant. Packed with loads of walnuts, I would say this cake is comparable to Cedele's. My only qualm would be its over buttery frosting; I prefer my cream cheese frosting slightly cheesier with more tang.

There dinner menu was kinda limited (another excuse for having cakes for dinner) and L settled for a Cottage Pie which tasted like Shepherd's pie; apparently the only difference in the former uses beef while the latter comprises of Lamb, or rather that's what Yahoo Answer says. I like the crusty top of the Cottage Pie but that's about it, the rest of the pie is pretty ordinary. Also, their service is kinda slow so do have your order taken quickly if you're already famished.

We ordered a Red Velvet Cake to share and I must say it's the best Red Velvet Cake I've tried thus far. I don't really know how the ideal Red Velvet Cake should taste like but FBB's had a robust cocoa flavour in it. Frosted with a thin layer of chocolate ganache, the Red Velvet Cake was über moist and fluffy. I didn't quite like the cream cheese frosting once again as it tasted more like whipped cream than cheese.

Bye Carrot Cake, till we meet XOXO |
We went on a weekday night and so there wasn't much crowd; which is awesome cos their service can be really slow. I would definitely return for more cakes and maybe their pancakes too!
