Chocolate Origins Chocolate Cake

My door bell rang just when I planned to eat healthily that night; it's none other than a familiar face, with a plate of chocolate cake in her hands. My neighbour's kid Dylan was celebrating his 12th birthday and they brought my family a slice of what looks like a diet buster. 

I took a look at the note and the cake is actually from Chocolate Origins! Awesome! I've been dying to try Chocolate Origins' chocolate cake but unfortunately they do not sell them in slices. So to hell with the diet, I dug my spoon into the luscious cake and OMG it tasted heavenly. It's mousse cum ganache like texture was soooo addictive that I finished almost half of the given slice. I also loved how the cake is not overpoweringly sweet. I know this sounds silly but it taste like a "no sugar added" chocolate cake; I mean obviously this cake has sugar but it seems as though the sweetness is coming from the chocolate itself.  In short, Chocolate Origins Chocolate Cake is da bomb!

Oh how time flies; I practically saw Dylan grow up!! He's such a sweet sweet boy and I hoped he had a marvelous 12th Birthday. Happy Birthday Dylan and may all your wishes come true! :)
