Continuing from the previous post, Tata and I headed to The Rotisserie for dinner after the Hazelnut pop from Smoulder. I was surprised to see how affordable The Rotisserie was: $11 for a quarter chicken and 3 vegetables/ 2 salad, pretty good eh?

Both Tata and I got the quarter chicken; Tata had the salads for sides while I had the veggies. There were 4 choices of veggies: Peas, Corn, Mash Potato and Cheesy Cauliflower. Don't you find it weird calling Cheesy Cauliflower and Mash Potato veggies?? I found the Mash Potato and Corn average; the Cheesy Cauliflower was pretty good as the Cauliflower was tender and added a nice flavour to the cheese. The chicken was really tender, juicy and wasn't too salty! I think the gravy really helped moisten the wel roasted chicken. Shoo Nando's, welcome The Rotisserie :)

Quarter Chicken with 3 Veggies |
Tata was the healthier one and chose salads for her side. She picked the Quinoa Lentils Salad and Lettuce salad with Lemon Dressing; a pity one could only pick 2 Salads as the Potato Salad looked really good. I was really glad Tata picked the Quinoa Salad as I always wanted to try Quinoa. I thought the Quinoa was pretty good, nice chewy and grainy; I might just go for salads the next time round :)

Quarter Chicken with 2 Salads |
I will definitely head back to The Rotisserie for some hearty chicken and sides. At $11 bucks, it's no wonder The Rotisserie is packed during lunch hour. It's a pity one can't mix both Salads and Veggies though.
