One Hell of a Night

Last Wednesday was wicked! I decided I needed to go out more often and party and thus I jio-ed Lil Wan to party. She said yes, we met and we partied hard (disclaimer: based on my limits)

But before all that, I met up with a long lost friend for dinner. I suggested Pizzeria Giardino as my folks tried them recently and said it was not bad; I think what they meant was it wasn't good also lol. They also failed to add that it was al fresco dining, gosh I was perspiring like crazy as I rushed all the way to Chijmes. To my defence, I was working and wasn't late because I was dolling up or smth. Anyway, we decided to order 2 pizzas to share. As they only served still and sparkling water, we both ordered beer. 

Honestly, I didn't know a pint was so big (wut? I did say I needed to party more right?) My jaw dropped when the beer arrived, I was like "hell no can i finish that.." but guess what I did! and I was flushed after that.

The pizza came not long after. Honestly, the first few pieces were good but the subsequent ones were tough. I know it's because it cooled down and all but I guess good pizzas should at least stay good for 1/2 an hour no? I thought the Salsiccia E Scarmoza was pretty nice. It's essentially a pizza topped with cheese, tomato, Capsicum, Sausages and Scarmoza (cheese). I liked the sausages; it was smoky and juicy.

We settled for Quattro Formaggi for the second pizza as Val doesn't eat eggplants. The  Quattro Formaggi, a four cheese pizza, was way better than the one I had at 15 minutes, albeit it was still a tad too salty for my liking. I don't think I would return, unless I can finish pizzas in 15 minutes.

Head over to MBS and club hopped with Lil Wan. I swear Lil wan is the coolest. It was great hanging out with her! I could still remember those IJ/ Badminton days gosh, we were so young then! How time flies....
