Those who know me well would know how much I love going grocery shopping! Particularly to those which have unique finds and Isetan at Scotts is one of them. I love how Isetan is always filled with food sampling stations. definitely a ++ for greedy pigs like me.
After dinner last Friday, we headed over to Isetan as Bro and Daddy wanted to look at the golf clubs. Being golf noobs, stoning at the golf section wasn't an option hence we headed for Isetan Supermarket at B1. Mum was busy sampling all the savory food while I headed straight for the sweets.
The Hokkaido Cheese Tart caught my attention and immediately dragged mummy to the booth. I was kinda disappointed they didn't have samples as I didn't want to be stuck with 8 sucky cheese tarts. These cheese tarts came in boxes of 8 and cost $10. It looked too appetizing for Mum to resist and she got a box without thinking twice. However, this is the epitome of "Looks can be deceiving", these cheese tarts tasted like cheese cakes with spongy yet cakey bottom. It wasn't awful tasting but it definitely did not taste like a tart, let alone match what I expected.

I think the only plus point of these cheese tart is how they were packaged. Packed separately in plastic wrappers, these cheese tart allows you to practice portion control.

The next item was also bought on impulse by mummy, costing her $18. This Hokkaido Snow Cheese Cake resembles a cheesecake ice cream. This cake was exactly what the promoter described it to be, melts in your mouth, so smooth and creamy. I felt scammed actually. DUH~ it melts in your mouth! it's freaky ice cream for God's sake lol.
