Was it really Grandma's?

Bustling with office crowd, Grandma's @ Suntec sure knows how to attract the lunch crowd. Offering lunch hour specials @ $5.80, I decided to give them a try. J had their Nasi Lemak which she says was awesome. She espeically loved the rice and sambal.  

I had the Hor Fun as it was on offer and cos I'm a huge Hor Fun Fan. For $5.80, it was absolutely worth it. I think the portion was big enough to feed 2. Taste wise, it was decent but not something I would head back for. I thought the Hor Fun was decent but didn't quite remind me of my Grandma's. I would love to try their Hokkien mee one day though. 

Verdict:

Food: Decent but wouldn't go all out for it.
Value: Worth while with discount, slightly pricey without. Nonetheless, portions were huge.
Service: Slow and inattentive but didn't quite expect much from such a chain.
Ambience: extremely noisy during lunch time
