I used to dislike thin crust pizza as I feel short changed; why pay the same price for less dough right!? but ever since I tried Ochre's Snow Pizza I was a convert, their thin crust wasn't anorexic-ally thin like skinny pizza's, meaning its thin but still had that chew to it. Alas, they closed down lol.. sorry for the anticlimax..
Anyways, if you've tried Ochre's white pizza and missing it, you should totally give Mad for Galric's Snowing Garlic Pizza a hit. It's really darn good! The pizza sauce is kinda creamy with a nice on sweet and savoury; the crust wasnt too bad either albeit slightly towards the thin side. TX had the Ham and Sausage Pizza@ $22.50 which wasn't too bad too, though really really peppery. If you can't take the heat, do not order this.
Pizza, form top right anticlockwiset: Han & Sausage Pizza @ $22.50, Garlic Snowing Pizza @ $22.50, Sarpino's San Remo's pizza |
And just a few days later, I had PIZZA AGAIN!! #fatdieme. The Fams wanted to dine at Jai Thai @clover way but it was packed so we adjourned to Sarpinos which was just next door. I guess, when it comes to casual pizza joints, Sarpinos or Dominoes wins hands down. I dislike Pezzo's (too salty, crust is dry and bread like), Pizza hut's (I dont even know where to begin) and Canadian Pizza (hard and dry crust with dried chicken pieces).
Anyways Sarpino was extrmeley quiet with only 1 diner dining in, besides us of course. We had our reservation but was too famished to care. The pizza turne dout to be decent, we order the San Remo and Teriyaki Chicken. I found the Terayaki Chicken to be too dry though. Service wise, HUGE room for improvement. The staffs there were rather indifferent and couldn't care less on whether we wanted to dine in or not.
