Checked out Nassim Hill Bakery, Bistro & Bar a month back and I wondered to myself.. WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG!?! I've read about it, heard about it, rgoogled about it but just didn't bother to head down (though its kinda in town). Anyway, glad I did as the Reuben Sandwich was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! *disclaimer: virgin experience with Reuben Sandwich thus having no expectation what so ever.

I knew the star at Nassim Hill BBB was/ is the Hot Reuben and so I had that while Tata settled for the burger. I sorta knew what Reuben was; I came across the term while foodling (the new googling) at food paradise. The amazing Reuben Sandwich's origins remains a mystery but whoever thought of mixing corned beef with sauerkraut is ingenious!
The hot Reuben at Nassim was pretty satisfying. The corned beef wasnt too salty and the combination of it with the ermental cheese, sauerkraut and their signature beer bread is simply divine, I would definitely return to Nassim just for their Hot Reuben.

Nassim Hill BBB was closing for a private event and so we adjourned to Brunetti @ Tanglin Mall for some sweets. Brunetti is an absolute paradise for all dessert lovers. We were tempted to have cakes but we weren't pretty stuffed. We got ourselves a large gelato and just looked at how much we've got!?!? I'm not too sure whether it was becos we were babes or whether the young handsome waiter was generous, either way, not complaining ;) The chocolate flavour was good but kinda sweet after a while. I loved the coffee as well. Tata wanted something sour and her closest option was the lemon one. I thought it tasted like those walls solero Ice cream.
