Festivity Nostalgia

I know Xmas is long gone but who says one cant reminisce those good times...

Assorted Popcorn

My colleague J offered us some assorted flavoured pop corns last month and boy were they exotic! I thought the seaweed flavour was the best as it wasn't overpoweringly weird. The tandoori chicken failed to make the popcorn taste like one while the banana and bubble gum were kinda on the fake-essence-flavoured side. I thought the chocolate tasted of cheap chocolate, would have preferred a deeper richer chocolate flavour. Suprisingly, the green tea tasted pretty good. I like how it wasn't as fake tasting and had that matcha creaminess to it. The most un-creative one would have been the butterscotch, which was pretty tasty- tasted like Garrett's.

Popcorns from Far East Hospitality :) thanks J
Despite having loads of other good food, I chose only to blog about these few items as it either look really funky or pretty. These cookies were given to daddy as a Xmas gift and gluttony me opened it for supper one night. I thought the cookies were really pretty and tasted decent. I loved the chocolate ones which had a nice deep bitterness to it. I found the cookies to be a lil on the sweet side albeit it was nice overall. These cookies are Jucheim which is a Japanese Bakery which produces apparently kick ass Baumkuchen cakes. I've yet to try them but if you're keen, do check them out at Taka.

And of course, the traditional Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte :) Oh how I missed Xmas already...
