I was never a Aston fan, not until Dad n Shuaxy introduced Hickory BBQ Chicken to me... Dang, their Hickory BBQ sauce is da bomb!
Daddy and I were dining at Aston's @ Thomson Road that night and we both had Hickory BBQ chicken. Dad had a baked potato and house salad for his sides. I thought both weren't that appetizing I didn't quite care for diluted mayo looking salad dressing and the baked potato was kinda dry. If you ever ever go to the states (I'm not sure whether they have it here), do order a twice baked potato!! It's basically a mash topped with cheese and stuffed in a crispy potato skin #yums

My sides were the mash potato and pasta salad; IKR! carbo loading to the max. I thought both mash and pasta salad were decent but not mind blowing-ly good. The best mash I had would be Marche's; best pasta salad would have to be the restaurant, back in the states, called Sweet Tomato. I swear they serve damn good salads and muffins :):):) *missin those bag packing days jie!

I guess $6.50 is pretty reasonable but does anybody notice Aston's chicken cutlets getting smaller? I'm not sure whether it's just the Thomson branch but our cutlets were damn freaggin small. Daddy came home and ate 2 of my carrot cupcakes lol. Oh oh! and their service.. oh Lord..they're so damn slow! I swear they are dancing with the chicken in their kitchen. In any case, the size and service is secondary when you have such delectable sauce :)) Sigh...I've no dignity..
p.s Gonna try their bolognese cos the one my colleague had @ west coast looked so darn good!
