Glad we managed to make time last week for a tiny get together; haven't seen both Eli and Trix for ages! I suggest Pita Pan and the gals went with it, what can I say... I've got ultra accommodating friends :)
We were at MBS at 8-ish and we were greeted with lovely roaming Xmas mascots. Of course we had to take a pic!

Besides the walking Snowman and Xmas tree, we also met some Xmas fairytale characters; oh how I would like to be a mascot for 1 day.

I took a quick look at the salad bar and it aint your regular subway kinda veggies, which may interest those adventurous vegetarians out there :)

I was in the mood for Shakshuka and so adventurous me gave their "Green Shakshuka" a go. Having tried Shashuka only once, I'm no Shashuka connoisseur but Pita Pan's green version is utterly disappointing. It essentially tasted like a blended spinach puree with 2 cooked eggs and a ton of salt. The Green Shashuka was extremely salty, rendering the dish almost inedible.

After a disappointing dinner, we took a long walk along MBS towards one Raffles Quay and caught the Wonder Full Show, which is the Southeast Asia's largest light and water show. It's essentially a 13 minute film about water and propaganda. I don't really think there's much of a plot behind this film but I thought the effects and stuff were pretty darn cool, albeit nothing beats LA Disney's watershow. Go catch it if you can, outside MBS (along the floating LV region).

to be continued...
