Met Shu Zhuang for dinner last week at Javier. She got me all excited when she claimed we could share a plate filled with greens for only $8.90. Apparently Javier's is a subsidiary of Ashton's and has been around since 2010, IKR?! where the hell have I been?
I was pretty pleased with the variety of dishes we were allowed to pile our plates with; there were the usual greens, tomatoes, carbs like pasta salad and potato salad. what surprise me was the offerings of mash potato, potato wedges, onion rings, rice and even brussel sprouts! Naise...

Our plate @ $11.90 |
For $11.90, I felt that the quality and quantity was decent. Everything was average and nothing in particular stood out for me. All I know is the brussel sprouts was way overdone.

Plate from another angle |
The price actually increased from $8.90 to $11.90 but I guess it's still ok especially when you're sharing it with someone else. We didn't manage to pile our plate as high as we would have liked to albeit we had a good time.
It was great meeting Zhuang zhuang again, she's in love and it's written all over her face. Sigh, how I miss that feeling... Anyway, I was taunted by my cravings for Yoguru and bought myself one at the lucky plaza kiosk. Yums... what a night :)
