Life's too short not to try something new,
Life's too short not to experiment,
Life's too short to think too much...
So don't wait, just eat.
Here's a snapshot of some of the stuff I tried and tasted over the last month:
OK tea is not too bad. As it's name suggests its OK (I wonder who came up with such a name, seriously??) I ordered the 3Q tea; the coconut jelly was ok, pearls were normal, pudding was creamy and nice & the tea was so-so (I prefer Koi's tea) hence overall the drink was only OK..(OK shall stop mocking)

Had Haato Ice Cream at Clarke Quay and it was ultimately disappointing. The ice cream itself wasn't creamy and had a really rough texture. I ordered the black sesame and hazelnut flavour; black sesame was ok but could do with a creamier texture. I like the hazelnut flavour but the ice cream was icy and lack that oomph creamy texture. One word: Disappointment.

I can never resist those cool looking UCC or Japanese label Coffee. I bought this awesome looking blue mountain UCC coffee from Liang Court's Meidi-Ya supermarket and saved it for rainy days (early sat mornings when I have to drag my ass all the way to BITC). I knew it! I shouldn't have fallen prey to these "bimbotic" coffee; they sure look good but ain't that great tasting. Honestly, Nescafe's canned coffee beat these hands down.

Gelateria Italia gelato at Jcube was way too sweet! Han's and myself had the Dark Roche and Pistachio gelato and we felt super jelak halfway through the Ice cream. I'm pretty sure the Italiano Gelato aint these sweet peeps!

Joyce was telling me how Angie the choice cakes are super soft and awesome, so one fine day I decided to give their cakes a go. Don't ask me why I chose the Chocolate Fudge Rolls, I just bought them on impulse (now now don't judge, bet you peeps out there do it too!) These chocolate fudge rolls tasted normal and weren't as super soft as what Joyce claimed. Don't get me wrong, they weren't nasty, but they weren't that fantastic either. Nonetheless, I'm willing to give their other cakes a try, maybe the slice ones the next time round?

Oh MOLY, ah finally. I've always wanted to try this new bubble tea shop near Braddell MRT (my hood). Moly's concept is kinda confusing as its neither a typical cafe nor a true blue bubble tea shop; its sort of a fusion between the two. I ordered the Mochaccino with coffee jelly. The coffee jelly was the main reason why I wanted to try Moly all these while. I mean.. I love jelly and I love coffee so coffee jelly sounded like something I would love doubly much. However, the coffee jelly was a real let down, not only did it NOT taste like coffee it didn't really have the jelly texture. In my humble opinion, it tasted like a cross breed of Nata de coco and Aga aga; no coffee taste, just roasted caramel taste. Sigh... at $3.60 (with 30% discount) this drink is pricy and unsatisfying.
