Paradise Inn- Hor Fun Paradise :)

Paradise Inn-ed (yes I'm using paradise inn as a verb) with the folks and bro last week. Paradise Inn is bl**dy smart, they kept giving us vouchers, tempting us to return time and time again. This is our second time and we decided to be adventurous.

Our usuals would be the poached spinach, coffee pork ribs, beef hor fun and salted egg prawn. So this time we ventured out of our comfort zone and ordered the honey ginger sauteed chicken, which I'm sad to say, sucks. The chicken was super bony, tiny and fried! The "sauteed" was really misleading.

Top clockwise: Honey Ginger Sauteed Chicken, Seafood Fried Rice & Malaysia Style hokkien mee.

Next up, the Malaysia style hokkien mee. Oh my... the guts they have, to state it as "Malaysia Style". These noodles weren't even close to the average tasting hokkien mee in Malaysia. Firstly, the noodles tasted like udon which is just wrong. Secondly, the sauce doesn't taste right. I'm fine with the dish itself but please do not call this Malaysia Style as it's clearer not! The last "new" dish was the seafood fried rice which was good. It had the wok hei taste (the flavours and tastes that are imparted by a hot wok on food during stir frying. Finally, our adventurous spirit paid off  :)

Do not get me wrong, I love paradise inn, especially their beef hor fun! But that's it, just for my beef hor fun fix :)
