Ichiban Boshi: My No.1 Choice

It used to be Sushi Tei and then Ichiban came and stole my love away. I love how Ichiban has the most awesome yet affordable sushi. Yes, it might not be the freshest nor the best of quality but it's just awesome enough to satisfy my cravings for Japanese.

Had Ichiban twice the week before last (yeah dated post, oops); once with Jie at Ichiban Boshi @ Novena Square and the other at Ichiban Sushi @ Toa Payoh. We pretty much ordered the same stuff: Udon, Cha Soba and loads of sushi :)

These are my favourite. The Potato Salad Inari never fails to please. The sweet inari and creamy potato salad complement the layer of cheese topping really well. This is like a must order for me! that's if you like Inari and potato salad.

Another must order would be the peak. I kinda forgot what's inside but I know it's topped with awesome layer of lobster salad :) it's alittle spicy but in a good way.

The Peak @ $2.10
The beef hand roll is also pretty good, packed with layers of delicious beef it is yummmehhh! I think it costs $2.90.

This sushi is not bad too. It's a little spicy but rather tasty. Unfortunately, I forgot what it's called but I know it costs $2.10 lol.

Unknown sushi for $2.10
On to some new finds, my sis ordered the avocado salmon and avocado scallop sushi which wasn't a bad choice. I love the avocado scallop and it might have just entered my must order list.

Avocado Salmon @ $2.10

Avocado Scallop @ $2.10
Ended the dinner with some Fiesta cheesecake. Fiesta Cheesecake is my childhood food as mummy would always come back with a box of Fiesta Cheesecake after grocery shopping at Yaohan (Thomson Plaza, yup tt's how old I am sigh..) In case you don't know Ichiban Suhi/ Boshi , Green Pumpkin, Fiesta, Kuriya etc. is owned by RE&S thus the reason why this lovely cheesecake ended up on our table. Sadly, this cake wasn't as good as what I remembered it to be. It might be due to the fact that it was circulating on the conveyor belt for a long time or...I'm all grown up and have tasted better ones. Nonetheless, this little cow (fiesta's mascot) would always hold a dear place in my heart.

Fiesta Cheescake @ $2.10
